This IO is focus on developing one tool flexible enough to provide key inputs how (ex)offenders perceives the reintegration processes. The assessment tool will include a survey to collect perceptions from (ex)offenders perceptions on society acceptance regarding reintegration process.
Taking advantage of previous IO the effort will be on creating a survey adjusted to the public like offenders which poses special concerns and requirement to research design.
This IO pursues the design of a specific methodology to provide CJS with the critical guidance to perform effective engagement paths towards society. The purpose is to design a methodology that can increase the number of partner organisations (civil society), participating in (ex)offenders reintegration process, commit them to contribute with various resources and reach an agreement to work closely together towards common goals related to the reintegration of (ex) offenders.

The team was reunited again, to explore a methodology on community engagement in the criminal justice system.
THEME: Toolbox for training community awareness on CJS, (ex)offenders’ rehabilitation and reintegration processes
Partners will organise among them at least 1 pilot to test, adapt to context, validate and fine tune the toolbox for community awareness; and also train the trainers to deliver it in any context. For this partners will deliver a train the trainers training targeting prison staff and trainers, in each partner country.
